Aims:

To develop self-esteem, self-motivation, self-discipline and confidence.

To improve physical fitness and agility.

To develop an understanding of team work and experience being part of a team.

To instil respect for others, your team members, your coach, the umpire and the opposition.

To encourage persistence and how to overcome adversity.

To teach and instil good sportsmanship.

To teach the rules of the game and the concept of fair play.

To develop versatile players who get exposed to different positions, learn tactical play and how to read the game.

To win with humility and lose with dignity.

To encourage players to become players for a lifetime.

League

At present we have eleven girls’ teams entered into the Eastern Province Primary School League.

Practice

All our teams practice twice a week and play a league match once a week.  They are exposed to both grass and Astro Turf practice sessions.
